BRIDGE BASICS for beginners
All the basic elements of the game of bridge will be taught: taking tricks, the bidding, playing hands in a suit and in No Trump and how to score. You will be playing a bridge hand right from the first lesson!!! Students receive an online pre-recorded version of the week’s lesson after every class!

This Intermediate course is suitable for both less experienced players looking to refresh the fundamentals and learn new techniques, but also for more experienced players looking to improve both their bidding and play of the hand. Students receive an online pre-recorded version of the week’s lesson after every class!
Topics covered include: Rebids by Opener and Responders; Forcing bids, Limited/Unlimited bids (when to stop bidding and when to continue!); Limit Raises; Perfecting NT bidding (Stayman, Transfers and more); Overcalls (Simple and Jump overcalls); Take-out Doubles; Reverses; Law of Total Tricks; Safety Play; Hold-Up Play; Safe Hand/Danger Hand; Play of the Hand: Declarer Planning, Project suit, and the 4 methods of Eliminating Losers.
When: Wednesdays, Oct 14 to Nov 25 (7 weeks), 6:30pm to 8:30pm

INTERMEDIATE 2
A course that solid Intermediate players can’t miss!!!
This course is appropriate for those who have achieved a level of confidence in their bridge fundamentals and are yearning to make further strides in their competitiveness. Although not a hard and fast prerequisite, prospective students should have either completed Intermediate 1 or be very comfortable with its content. Students receive an online pre-recorded version of the week’s lesson after every class!
Topics covered include: Opening Bid of Two Clubs, The Sound of Slam, Counting and Disposing of Losers (review), Roman Key Card Blackwood, When is 4NT Blackwood, Gerber, Control Cuebids, Unusual Notrump, Michaels Cuebids, Double Finesses, The Weak Two Bid, Counteracting Weak Twos and Preempts, The Cross Ruff, Loser on Loser Play, The Safety Play, Opening Light in 3rd Seat, Responses by a Passed Hand, Balancing.
